Gabriela Alcalde is a Colombian-Cuban-American documentary filmmaker. Most recently, Alcalde was the Associate Producer on the upcoming PBS documentary, LATINO VOTE: DISPATCHES FROM THE BATTLEGROUND and the Netflix docu-series, HOW TO FIX A DRUG SCANDAL. Alcalde was the Archival Researcher on the Primetime Emmy-nominated documentary, DIVIDE AND CONQUER: THE STORY OF ROGER AILES.

Her short film, LA DESPEDIDA, will premiere at the 2020 San Diego Latino Film Festival. She graduated from New York University with a B.F.A. in Film & TV and a B.A. in Art History. Alcalde was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and lives between Miami and New York City.
